1. Booking and Payment
   • All driving lessons must be booked in advance.
      
   • Payment is required before or at the start of each lesson, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
      

• Cancellation Policy
   
  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any lesson.
     
  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
     
  • Cancellations must be made via phone, text message, or email and confirmed by your instructor.
     
• Punctuality.
   
  • Instructors will wait up to 15 minutes for late arrivals; however, the lesson may be shortened accordingly without a fee reduction or charged in full as a no show if no attempt is made to turn up for the lesson- in this event the Fee must be Paid in full prior to rebooking next lesson.
     
• Instructor Cancellations
   
  • In the unlikely event your instructor needs to cancel a lesson, you will be given as much notice as possible, and the lesson will be rescheduled at no extra charge.
     
• Lesson Duration and Vehicle Use
   
  • Standard lesson duration will be as agreed at the time of booking.
     
  • Use of the Gillespie’s School of Motoring vehicle is included in the lesson fee.
     
• Student Requirements
   
  • You must hold a valid UK provisional driving license.( With the exception of Refresh courses) Where a valid full UK Drivers License is required.
     
  • You must notify your instructor of any changes to your license or any medical conditions that may affect your ability to drive.
     
• Conduct and Safety
   
  • Students must behave respectfully and safely at all times.
     
  • Lessons may be terminated immediately, without refund, if a student is suspected to be under the influence of drugs, alcohol or behaves in a manner deemed unsafe by the instructor.
     
• Practical Test Bookings
   
  • Use of a Gillespie’s School of Motoring vehicle for the driving test must be arranged in advance.
     
  • The instructor reserves the right to refuse vehicle use for a driving test if the student is not deemed test-ready.
     
• Liability
   
  • Gillespie’s School of Motoring is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from a student’s actions during a lesson.
